Final Project: Hosting Web Applications using Amazon Web Services' Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)

CIT 382 provides a project-based Introduction to Internet-Based Computing Platforms (Web 2.0) for non-CS majors.

Student final projects, installed on EC2 machine instances, are available using the EC2 link roll, on the right side of this blog page.

AWS provided the EC2 resources for our class to use, and Jinesh Varia, AWS Technology Evangelist, traveled to Eugene to introduce us to AWS and EC2.

Jinesh is very interested to hear from you to get student feedback about using EC2: Any problems you encountered, the pros and the cons, etc. Jinesh requests this as valuable input that will assist AWS to extend their educational program, and he emphasizes that this is totally voluntary and up to the individual.
